Shaping stories that reflect identity, voice, and perspective.

/ Concept / Perspective Magazine is an editorial publication created in collaboration with another design student at Southern Adventist University. Centered on Southern's culture, identity, and student voices, the magazine blends storytelling, photography, and design to create a platform that feels both personal and collective.

The Work

A collaborative editorial process.

We developed the magazine from concept to print, handling writing, interviews, photography, and layout design. Each piece was built to feel distinct while contributing to a larger narrative across the publication.

The Approach

Built to be read. Designed to be felt.

Content and visuals were created together, not separately. Photography played a central role, with layouts designed to support both readability and strong visual storytelling. Typography, spacing, and composition were used to create a clear rhythm across spreads.
