An invitation to reconnect.
The Southern New England Conference Camp Meeting is an annual multi-day gathering that brings thousands of people together in South Lancaster, Massachusetts. With worship services, seminars, fellowship, and programming for children, youth, young adults, and different language groups, Camp Meeting creates a shared experience for a diverse community. I was tasked with extending the established Welcome Home identity across the event’s print and environmental materials, helping create a visual experience that felt connected from the moment attendees arrived.
About the project
Designing a Sense of Belonging
The theme focused on creating a sense of belonging for those returning to Camp Meeting, including people who may have felt disconnected or hurt. The visual direction needed to communicate warmth, openness, and reunion while remaining accessible to a broad audience.
A Welcome You Could See
The identity became part of the Camp Meeting itself.
From the booklet used throughout the event to the banners welcoming thousands of attendees onto the grounds, the extended system helped turn Welcome Home from a message into a physical experience.
