Branding

Your pay. Your timing.

/ Concept / WageSpark is an earned wage access product developed for Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union (TVFCU), designed to give eligible members access to wages they have already earned before payday. As a pre-launch project, the work focused on defining the product's identity, positioning, and visual language before entering the market.

The Idea

What if payday didn't have to determine when you could use money you've already earned?

WageSpark was built around the idea of financial control. Rather than positioning earned wage access as borrowing or another financial product, the brand reframes it as access to money that already belongs to you. The name connects wages with a spark of activation, laying the foundation for a brand centered on flexibility, energy, and control.

The Challange

Where fintech energy meets the trust of an established credit union.

Research into other fintech brands helped identify a crowded visual landscape built around speed, convenience, and financial freedom. From there, I developed a visual identity that combines the energy of fintech with the credibility of TVFCU.

The system uses bold color, contemporary typography, authentic photography, product imagery, and flexible layouts to create a brand that can adapt across digital and print. Just as importantly, TVFCU remains visible throughout the system, reinforcing that WageSpark is a new product from a trusted financial institution rather than a standalone fintech brand.
