About me
/joh-áhn/
Design, is about definition. It’s the process of taking something that feels complex, unclear, or even overwhelming—and shaping it into something people can understand, connect with, and feel.
Define me
I start every project by examining the reason behind it.
The why enables me to construct design elements that establish the complete experience.
As a multidisciplinary designer, I work across brand systems, presentation storytelling, and integrated marketing. I take ideas and turn them into visual experiences that people can move through, not just look at.
My background in photography also shapes how I approach design. Understanding lighting, composition, and how to manipulate both has taught me how to guide attention, create mood, and emphasize what matters which are skills I carry into every visual decision I make.
Being bilingual and having experienced different communities has shaped how I design. I’ve learned that not everyone connects to things in the same way—and that’s important. I make sure the work feels welcoming, clear, and meaningful to the people it’s meant for.
At the end of the day, what I do is simple:
I take emotion and turn it into understanding.

“From day one, his graphic design skills rivaled those of seasoned professionals - creative, clean and consistently exceeding expectations."
