Development

Exploring contrast through type.

/ Concept / A conceptual zine that pushes typographic boundaries to explore tension, contradiction, and perception. Built around the idea that good things happen to bad people, the design uses red and blue to represent opposing ends of a spectrum.

The Concept

Nothing is purely one or the other.

The project questions the relationship between morality and outcome. It challenges the assumption that good and bad exist as clear opposites, instead presenting them as forces that can overlap, conflict, and coexist.

The Outcome

Pushed type beyond its limits.

The final zine creates a visual tension between order and disruption, using contrast in both color and form to reflect the complexity of its concept. It stands as an exploration of how design can challenge perception through experimentation.
